ABB's General purpose encapsulated open core, and coil transformer (also known as Type IP Control Power transformers) are ideally suited for industrial or light-duty loads, HVAC applications, signal and alarm systems, industrial control panels, lighting, and circuit isolation. A fuse block kit to accomodate customer specified fusing is installed at the factory and carry a "G" suffix. Type IP Control Power transformers are an economical alternative to the Type IP high in-rush/machine tool transformers. The Type IP transfomers are UL and cUL Listed and RoHS compliant. Qualified to the seismic requirements of IEEE-693-2005 and IBC-2021 and CBC 2022.
