Original Manufacturer Equipment (OEM) designing robotic applications sometimes are required to build a custom pendant unit for their machines to meet functional safety requirements. Design to help OEM’s overcome this challenge, the A4E is a 3-position enabling switch that meets ANSI/RIA 15.06 requirements. With a “clicking feel” on the switch, the A4E provides auditory and tactile feedback to operators to help them maintain the correct run position and can be mounted in 2 directions allowing OEM’s maximum flexibility in pendent design.
