Omron CP1W-CIF01 RS-232C Communication Option Board
The Omron CP1W-CIF01 is a compact RS-232C serial communication option board designed to expand the connectivity of Omron CP-series PLCs. Installed directly into the PLC's option slot, it adds a dedicated serial communication port for interfacing with HMIs, SCADA systems, barcode readers, printers, inverters, and other serial devices. The module supports multiple communication protocols, enabling flexible integration into industrial automation systems while maintaining a simple plug-in installation.
Adds one RS-232C serial communication port to compatible Omron PLCs
Supports Host Link, NT Link, Serial PLC Link, Modbus-RTU, and No-Protocol communications
Installs directly into Option Board Slot 1 or 2 without external adapters
Enables communication with HMIs, computers, SCADA systems, barcode scanners, printers, and serial instruments
Communication distance up to 15 m via RS-232C connection
Compatible with Omron CP1E, CP1L, CP1H, and selected CJ2M CPU units
Compact, plug-in design requiring no additional power supply
