D4SL-N Guard Locking Switch

Gates protected with guard locking switches are usually only opened under very limit circumstances, like troubleshooting or maintenance tasks. To help machines designers, the D4JL series offers a set of features to make it easier to develop a compliant safety solution according to international safety standards. The D4JL offers two safety circuits and two monitor contacts, optional trapped keys to prevent workers from being locked in hazardous areas and rear release buttons to allow people to unlock the switch and escape if they are locked into hazardous areas. In addition, the D4JL series offers IP67 protection, led indicators, and mounting slides key.<ul>

D4JL Guard Locking Switch

Designing a risk reduction strategy where inertia plays a critical role in the risk assessment, such as rotating equipment and high pressure pneumatic valves, is challenging.  The D4NL series is a flexible and cost effective guard-locking door switch designed to prevent access to hazards in this situations. With the various combinations of mechanical lock/solenoid release, the D4L has a key holding force of up to 1300N, reducing the risk of access to the hazard.  The D4L simplifies installation and maintenance with a plastic housing, availability with four or five built-in contacts, compatibility various conduit types and sharing a common key set with D4GL and D4NS series.<ul>

D4NL Guard Locking Switch

<p>Machine builders producing machinery that involves high-risk levels often look to implement safety interlocks that have both a high locking force and are easy to install and maintain. For a long life and low maintenance, the TL8012-S series has stainless steel actuators and stainless steel guides engineered to last for a minimum of one million activations.
