Pluto is a cost effective, powerful and compact safety PLC for all machine safety applications. Most safety devices on the market can be connected directly to Pluto and multiple safety sensors can be connected to a single input and still achieve the highest safety level. Programming is done easily in the accompanying software Pluto Manager.Safety PLC with Pluto safety bus. Totally 46 I/O: 24 failsafe inputs + 16 non-failsafe outputs/failsafe inputs + 4 individually failsafe relay outputs + 2 individually failsafe transistor outputs.

Vital 1 Safety controller with relay outputs 2NO, +24 VDC supply voltage and detachable screw terminals. For monitoring of safety devices, such as emergency stops, using DYNlink.Vital 1 is a configurable safety controller that does not require programming. It uses the DYNlink system, which allows up to 30 safety devices to be connected in series to the same circuit, while achieving PL e / SIL 3. The DYNlink circuit is a unique solution that uses one single channel to achieve upt to Cat.4/PL e. Using DYNlink reduces the installation and engineering time thanks to simple installation with serial connection using M12 connectors. Vital 1 can only be used with DYNlink safety devices, such as Eden DYN and devices with a Tina adapter.

Tina 3A is used for adaptation of devices with two positively driven force-guided contacts like emergency stop buttons and key switches, to the DYNlink solution. Tina 3A is mounted directly on the device enclosure to a M20 cable entry and has a M12-5 male connector for connection to the DYNlink loop.Tina is available in several versions depending on the type of safety component that is connected to the Vital, Pluto or B&R X20 circuit.
Gateway for 2-way communication between the Pluto bus and Ethernet. Ethernet protocol EtherNet I/P.With the use of a Gateway device, Pluto can communicate with other control systems and thereby form a part of a larger network. The unit has a common interface with Pluto, i.e. the same cabling and the Pluto Manager software can be used for servicing and where necessary programming.

External program memory, 10 kbyte. For projects with only one Pluto the memory can store the PLC program. Can also be used to give Pluto AS-i a specific address.IDFIX is an identifier circuit which gives each Pluto an address on the bus. It contains an identification code which can be read by the system. The identification code is declared in the PLC program so that the correct part of the PLC program is executed by each specific Pluto. The use of IDFIX is mandatory in a multi-Pluto project, but voluntary if a unit works alone. If one Pluto in a multi-Pluto project needs to be replaced it is possible to let the new Pluto selfload the PLC program from another Pluto on the bus. The IDFIX will ensure that the new Pluto has the correct address on the bus.
Tina 1A blind plug is connected to the unused M12 connectors of the connection blocks Tina 4A or Tina 8A. M12-5 male connector. The Tina devices adapt the DYNlink safety circuit in Vital, Pluto and B&R X20 to safety components with mechanical contacts, such as E-stops, switches and light beams/curtains with dual outputs.Tina is available in several versions depending on the type of safety component that is connected to the Vital, Pluto or B&R X20 circuit.

Tina 4A is a connection block for series connection of up to four DYNlink devices. Four M12-5 female connectors for the sensors are available on the device. The information signal of each device can be wired separately. The cable used for the connection to the Tina 4A should have a diameter 7 - 12 mm. Unused M12-connectors on Tina 4A must be equipped with Tina 1A blind plugs.

Identifier, read only, for assigning an address to the Pluto it is connected to. Each Pluto connected to the Pluto safety bus needs an IDFIX.
