ABB's General purpose encapsulated open core, and coil transformers (also known as Type IP Control Power transformers) are ideally suited for industrial or light-duty loads, HVAC applications, signal and alarm systems, industrial control panels, lighting, and circuit isolation. The optional fuse block adapter kits enable input and output flexibility. Type IP Control Power transformers are an economical alternative to Type IP high in-rush/machine tool transformers. The Type IP transformers are UL and cUL listed and RoHS compliant. Qualified to the seismic requirements of IEEE-693-2005 and IBC-2021 and CBC 2022.
