NFZB contactor relays comply with the latest railway rolling stock standards and allow installation in passengers or driver cabins for trains frequently operating tunnels or undergrounds. They are used for switching auxiliary and control circuits. Improve the compactness of the installations thanks to reduced dimension and side-by-side mounting requiring less 15% width (without spacing) from -40 °C up to +70 °C. Meet all main rollling stocks standards: IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60077-1/-2 and applicable parts of EN 50155 standards, shocks and vibration withstand conforming to IEC 61373 cat. 1, class B. Reach the highest levels in fire and smoke behaviour with compliance to European standard EN 45545-2 (HL2, HL3 hazard levels) in group mounting. Reduce train energy with lighter devices and requiring 68% less coil energy consumption in operation. Electronic coil interface handling large DC voltage fluctuation voltage, including several Uc DC control voltages used for battery supply and accepting sinusoïdal AC 50/60 Hz control supplies included inside Ucmin.... Ucmax voltage range. Max permitted AC 50/60 Hz control voltage must not be exceeded (see technical data). Wide range of auxiliary contact blocks for front and side mounting.

Signaling contacts SK1-AR with screw terminals signal the tripping of the manual motor starter. For SK1-AR a red flag in a window on the front of the device indicates the tripping event. The contact positions of SK1-AR don't need to be manually reset after a tripping. They are reset to their original position when the manual motor starter is switched back on. The SK1-AR signaling contacts signal tripping regardless if it was caused by short-circuit, overload or electrical release (AA1 or UA1). They are attached on the right side of the manual motor starter. Signaling contacts SK1-AR are available as normally open or normally closed contacts.

Undervoltage release UA1 releases the manual motor starter or prevents it from being switched on when its voltage supply is interrupted. This can be used in emergency switching circuits or can prevent an automatic restart after voltage interruption. UA1 is attached laterally on the left side of MS116, MS132 or MS165 manual motor starters.

The TF42-B thermal overload relays are economic electromechanical protection devices for the main circuit, complying with the latest railway rolling stock standards and allowing installation in passengers or driver cabins for trains frequently operating tunnels or undergrounds. They offer a reliable protection for motors in the event of overload or phase failure. The devices have tripclass 10.The thermal overload relays are three pole relays with bimetal tripping elements. The motor current flowsthrough the bimetal tripping elements and heats them directly and indirectly. In case of an overload (overcurrent), the bimetal elements bent as a result of the heating. This leads to a release of the relay and achange of the contacts switching position (95-96 / 97-98).– Manual or automatic reset selectable– Phase loss sensitive acc. to IEC/EN 60947-4-1– TEST and STOP function – Trip indication on the front– Temperature compensation– Suitable for three- and single-phase applications– designed in accordance to the applicable parts of IEC 60077 standard– shocks and vibration withstand conforming to IEC 61373 (category 1, class B)– usable according to European fire and smoke safety standard EN 45545-2
